my breath stinks,
the hot water ran out
I think about my next move
the color is Blue
read copper woman.
rub amber on my body.
draw and teach.
oh yeah feed the cat too
Laying alone in bed
Watching fractals shred
In your open arms, I’m comforted.
A few skins have shed
I remember what my mother said
Forget the past, look ahead
Follow your heart, not your head instead
Love your fellow friends, there’s no end
star dust is near
We’ve always seen clear
we trust in what’s best
our pure instinctual guts lead the way to see what’s next
If there is, one thing we learn about nature, it’s that the sequence of Creation and destruction, repeats itself.
Death after life, life after death is inevitable.
Putting your soul and effort into a project.
Hours of hard labor.
Something you’ve created.
Something you’re proud of.
Once it’s done, hold it. cherish it, take some pictures with it.
But ultimately the lesson here is that: Everything is Temporary.
We are shown that the effort it took to create it, will be the exact energy placed for it to be destroyed.
Also, a lesson learned from Burning Man: Pieces of art that people work all year, or years on for one single project that they so carefully pack and bring to Burning Man. Weather it’s a art installation, or a wooden structure that would’ve taken 10 men to build and a couple of days, most likely will be burned in the next few days of being there.
It’s easy to say that everything is temporary.
But we sometimes forget that we are constantly, abruptly, reminded when something goes missing, someone has passed, or anything that emotionally won’t let us move forward.
These events make us question when “temporary” will end ?
Patience comes from within, if you’re willing to wait 50years for something you’ve always wanted, you’re patient. On a much larger spectrum (space-time) 50 years is the blink of an eye. since Time does not work the same way anywhere throughout the Galaxy.
Back to the original Creation/Destruction project.
As you are done being “in love” with your creation,
Know that this love will only be temporary and that one day it, and you will be destroyed (natural or unnatural causes)
think of ways to destroy it, and then do.
I think this would be a true Grey zone from knowing that life and death are One; they need each other, they wouldn’t exist without each other.
this lifetime is temporary, my sorrow is temporary, and my happiness is temporary.
make the best of it.
